Miranda Kwon, M.M.

Violinist and Pianist Miranda Kwon started playing the piano at the age of 4, singing in the children’s choir at the age of 5, and won her first prize, the First Place at the Regional Piano Competition for Juniors in South Korea, at the age of 8. She also started playing the violin at the age of 10 and won the Third Place in Violin at Young Artists’ Competition in Seoul, South Korea, at age 11. She then studied at an International Middle and High School for Music, Art, and Dance in Seoul, South Korea, and went on to study music at New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, MA (Bachelor of Music, Violin Performance) and Hartt School of Music, Univ. of Hartford, CT (Master of Music, Violin Performance). She has extensive experiences in solo, chamber music, choir, and orchestra performances as well as teaching Piano, Violin, Viola, and Voice. She loves teaching music and sharing the joy of music with anyone who is interested and has a heart for music!
