Born and raised in Sri Lanka, flautist Sanuja Goonetilleke is a recent graduate of Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Arts in Education Master’s program. She holds a BM in Flute Performance (with Distinctions in Performances, Honors, and summa cum laude) from Converse College. While at Converse, she was a Concerto Competition Winner and participated in the Eastern Music Festival orchestral program and Saarburg Music Festival chamber music program. Currently, she performs with the Du Bois Orchestra. As a flute instructor, she has taught at the Conservatory Lab Charter School (as a Boston Philharmonic Orchestra Teaching Artist) and the Lawson Academy of the Arts. She also holds a Professional Diploma in Piano Performance from the London College of Music Examinations.
